Apple Music has started a new feature that helps people switch from other music streaming apps to Apple Music. With this new option, users can move their favourite songs, playlists, and followed artists from other apps like Spotify or YouTube Music to Apple Music easily.
How Does It Work?
This feature is built into the Apple Music app itself. If you’re using an iPhone or iPad, you can go to:

Settings > Apps > Music

Then tap on Transfer Music from Other Music Services

Choose the music app you are using now (like Spotify, Tidal, etc.)
If you are using an Android phone, you can:

Open the Apple Music app

Tap the three dots in the corner

Go to Settings

Then tap on Transfer Music from Other Music Services
Once you choose the app you want to move your music from, Apple Music will ask you to log in to that old account. After that, it will begin moving your songs, playlists, and saved artists into Apple Music.
What If Some Songs Can’t Be Moved?
Sometimes, Apple Music may not find the exact same song or version from your old app. In that case, it will show a message: “Some Music Needs Review.” This means you have to look for another version of that song yourself. Apple gives you 30 days to check and fix this before you try to start another transfer.
Where Is This Available?
Right now, this feature is only available in New Zealand and Australia. Apple has not said exactly when it will come to other countries like India, but it is expected to roll out to more places soon.
Apple has made this feature in partnership with SongShift, an app that already helps people move their music between apps like Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, YouTube Music, and others. So, Apple is now making this tool directly available inside Apple Music for easier use.
What You Can Do While You Wait
Since the feature is not yet available in India, you can still transfer your music using other methods. There are several apps and guides online that explain how to move your songs from Spotify to Apple Music manually or using third-party apps like SongShift.
Until Apple brings this feature to India, these other tools are your best option if you want to switch to Apple Music without losing your music library.
